about

Unnamed March/ Crosses of Annagh (Bobby Casey) /Man of the House/Speed the Plow
Artists: Emilie Carroll, Nora Carroll, Sammy Wetstein, Dr. Ryan Ford, Conor Hearn, Sean Carroll
Graciously named by two of our original fans, our grandparents, this is a fun set of a march and three reels. We learned the march from John Whelan, but the name seems to have been lost along the way. We learned the Crosses of Annagh off of Jeanne Freeman’s 2014 album, also produced by John Whelan. We’ve always loved how this set builds from a slow beginning to a dramatic finish!
